Resilience Skills Training, Counselling and Coaching for Neurodiverse Families

Introducing My Brain Buddy

My Brain Buddy provides evidence-informed, neuroaffirming resilience skills training for individuals and families navigating neurodiversity, including Autism and ADHD.

My Brain Buddy was created for people who are tired of being told to fix behaviour, try harder, or do more, when what they really need is understanding, clarity, and practical support that fits real life.

Rather than focusing on diagnosis or deficit, My Brain Buddy focuses on:

  • understanding different brains and nervous systems

  • noticing stress, capacity, and patterns without blame

  • practising practical skills that build resilience over time

The five-session program supports families to:

  • understand neurodiverse differences and changing capacity

  • act with intention using clear values and informed decision-making

  • build emotional safety and co-regulation when things get hard

  • think clearly and advocate effectively without urgency or overwhelm

  • celebrate difference and turn learning into a simple, usable action plan

My Brain Buddy is not therapy, and it’s not about having all the answers. It’s a skills-based, safety-first program that helps people feel less alone, more confident, and better equipped to navigate everyday challenges.

Sessions are delivered online, in small groups, with flexible participation options — cameras off if you prefer, chat welcome, sharing always optional.

To support informed choice, Session 1 is risk-free. Participants can attend the first session and decide whether the program feels like the right fit.

I’m really proud of this work and excited to share something grounded in compassion, curiosity, clarity and connection for neurodiverse individuals and families

Resilience isn’t about being tougher, coping better, or pushing through.

Real resilience grows when people feel understood, supported, and equipped with skills that fit their lives.

This is the approach behind My Brain Buddy.
