Resilience Skills Training Program
The My Brain Buddy Resilience Skills Training program provides a structured, neuroaffirming foundation.
Resilience Skills Training is delivered in small groups, either online or in person. The small group size allows for connection while maintaining privacy. Sharing is always optional, and you are encouraged to participate at a level that feels right for you.
Across the five-session program, participants:
build shared language around brains, bodies, stress, and capacity
develop practical, low-demand resilience skills
explore co-regulation, emotional safety, and everyday supports
identify strengths and protective factors
Each session builds toward a simple, doable Family or Individual Support Plan that can be used at home and adapted over time.
This training forms the starting point for most participants.

Strengthening connection moments
Session 4
Decision Making and Advocacy
Learn how to make accurate decisions under pressure and advocate effectively without burning out.
We will learn about –

And practice these skills in Effective Advocacy

Planning an advocacy approach
Session 5
Making it Work in Real Life
Learn how to sustain change over time and build a family system that works with your brain, not against it.

Flexible routines + anchor points
And create a Family Resilience Support Plan that you can keep using after the program is finished.
